Estos son los nominados a los GDC Awards 2020

La organización de la GDC ha anunciado hoy la lista de nominados a los premios de la vigésima edición anual de los Game Developers Choice Awards (GDCA). Los premios se entregarán en un evento que tendrá el miércoles 18 de marzo de 2020 en el San Francisco Moscone Center, coincidiendo con la Games Developer Conference* (GDC) y se llevará a cabo junto con Independent Games Festival Awards (IGF).

Este año, la gala será presentada por Kim Swift, directora de game design en Stadia 2P Games. Swift es principalmente conocida por su trabajo como desarrolladora clave en juegos como Portal y Left 4 Dead. La ceremonia se retransmitirá en directo a través del canal oficial Twitch de la GDC.

Cualquier videojuego lanzado en 2019, independientemente de la plataforma, es elegible para una nominación gratuita para los premios GDCA, y tanto los nominados como los ganadores son seleccionados por la la ICAN (Game Developers Choice Awards-specific International Choice Awards Network), una organización a la que solo se puede formar parte por invitación y que está compuesta por creadores de juegos líderes de la industria.
